Shelley Carawan is a Beaufort County native and currently resides in the beautiful waterfront town of Belhaven, NC located on the Pungo River. She is a East Carolina University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and has a minor in Business Administration. JANE STANCIL,Broker Associate
Jane Stancil brings more than 25 years of experience and integrity as a legal assistant to her career in real estate. She is a Pitt County native who graduated from D. H. Conley High School and then completed her freshman year at Atlantic Christian College (now Barton) in Wilson, North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from East Carolina University, where she achieved membership in Pi Omega Pi, the National Honor Society for Business Education students. Ms. Stancil is the mother of a 22-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old son, both of whom live in eastern North Carolina. She resides in a small waterfront community nestled between Washington and Chocowinity along with “Roxie”, a moody overweight Dachshund, and “Petie”, a Dalmation mix with one black eye, both of which she rescued from abuse and neglect. Her hobbies include reading, composing poetry, shooting pool, boating, fishing and relaxing in the hammock! She is a member of Chocowinity United Methodist Church, the Washington-Beaufort County Board of Realtors, the North Carolina Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce, and a recipient of the WBCBR Million Dollar Club.

Thad Roberts began his real estate career in 1986 with Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Development Company in Beaufort County, North Carolina. Weyerhaeuser developed numerous waterfront residential communities in Beaufort Co, Pamlico Co, Craven Co, and Carteret counties during the early 80's up through 2002. Following his career with Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company's waterfront division Thad has enjoyed helping sellers and buyers alike achieve their goals with respect to a variety of properties including waterfront homesites, waterfront homes, residential, commercial, land and timber, hunting tracts, historic homes, and recreational properties ever since he became an independent real estate broker in August 2002. Thad resides with his wife Lisa in Beaufort County where they both enjoy a variety of activities most of which involve either being on the water or in the great outdoors.
